Terms of use
Version: draft 2026-10-21
1. Provider
mhtirogla is provided by Lotus Chess UG (haftungsbeschränkt), [Raphael: address], [Raphael: register court and number], [Raphael: VAT ID], [Raphael: managing director], contact: support@mhtirogla.ai ("we").
2. What mhtirogla is
A library of pages about algorithms, data structures and system designs, with search, an HTTP API and an MCP server for AI clients. The pages describe how things are commonly built; they are not advice for your specific case. You decide what you build and are responsible for checking it, its licences and its security.
3. Accounts
- You can use Free without an account within the anonymous limit. An account gives you API keys.
- Sign-in is by passkey or a one-time link sent to your email. Keep your keys secret; you are responsible for calls made with them. Delete a key you think is exposed.
- One account per person. Team use needs a Team plan [Raphael: once it exists].
4. Plans, prices and payment
- Plans and prices are on the pricing page. During early access every plan gets everything for free; we announce paid features at least [Raphael: 30] days before they start.
- Pro is billed in advance monthly or yearly and renews automatically until cancelled. Payments are processed by Stripe; Stripe's terms apply to the payment itself. Prices [Raphael: incl./excl.] VAT where applicable.
- We may change prices for future periods; we tell you at least [Raphael: 30] days before your next renewal, and you can cancel before it applies.
5. Cancellation, refunds, right of withdrawal
As described in Cancellation and refunds, which is part of these terms.
6. Fair use
- Stay within your plan's limits. No attempts to get around limits (many keys, many accounts, many IPs).
- No bulk copying of the library to publish or sell it, or to offer a competing service. Using pages to build your own software, including with an AI, is what the service is for.
- No attacks on the service, no automated sign-ups, no misuse of documentation requests (spam, personal data).
- We may suspend keys or accounts that break these rules; for paid plans we tell you why first unless the abuse is ongoing.
7. Content
[Raphael: licence of the pages: e.g. read and use for your own projects; code snippets under a named licence.] Third-party libraries named on the pages have their own licences; the page names the licence, the library's authors own it.
8. Availability and changes
We aim for a reliable service but give no guaranteed uptime on Free [Raphael: or on Pro, unless stated]. We may change or remove features; when a paid feature is removed, you can cancel and get a pro-rata refund of the unused period.
9. Liability
[Raphael/lawyer: standard German limitation: unlimited for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, and under the Product Liability Act; for slight negligence only for breach of essential obligations, limited to the typical foreseeable damage; otherwise excluded.]
10. Final provisions
German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods; for consumers, mandatory consumer protection of their country of residence stays unaffected. [Raphael: place of jurisdiction for merchants.] The EU online dispute resolution platform: [Raphael: link and whether we take part in consumer arbitration].
